☯️ The 12 Principal Meridians
The main pathways of Qi circulation, each connecting to a major organ and active during specific hours
✨ The 8 Extraordinary Vessels
The reservoirs that regulate Qi flow and connect the principal channels — each accessed via a confluent opening point
Understanding the Flow
The 12 Principal Meridians flow in a continuous cycle following the organ clock. Qi flows through each channel for 2 hours, completing a full circuit every 24 hours. The 8 Extraordinary Vessels act as reservoirs, regulating the flow when there is excess or deficiency in the principal channels.
